New Single release "U Don't Know"

Bosnian singer-songwriter, pianist and producer EMI has released her new single, "U Don't Know", continuing to shape her distinctive art pop sound through a blend of classical musicianship and contemporary alternative production.

Having studied and performed across Sarajevo, Ljubljana, Budapest and the Netherlands, EMI explores themes of identity and authenticity through her music.

Inspired by the disappointment that comes when reality fails to meet expectations, "U Don't Know" transforms an intense personal experience into a musical statement.

The song delivers a gentle yet empowering message about setting boundaries and self-worth, balancing vulnerability with confidence while staying true to EMI's independent artistic vision.

The release also continues EMI's long-standing creative collaboration with her father, musician and producer Muhamed Trnka (MUKI).

EMI wrote the music and lyrics, produced the track and edited the music video, while Muhamed Trnka contributed the guitars, mixing and mastering.

The accompanying music video was filmed at Ljubljana's Rog Creative Centre, surrounded by its iconic murals and vibrant street art, creating a visual backdrop that complements the song's atmosphere. It was filmed by American videographer Ella Dragoje.

As an independent artist from Bosnia and Herzegovina, EMI continues to build an authentic European artistic path, combining her classical background with a modern, self-produced art pop sound.
